Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Nose Wax.
Most clients feel a brief stinging or tugging sensation that lasts only seconds. Trained technicians use gentle technique to minimize discomfort. Mild redness or tenderness can persist for a few hours but typically subsides by the end of the day.
Hair grows differently for everyone, but most clients return every four to six weeks. We'll recommend a schedule based on your growth pattern to maintain smooth nostrils and minimize regrowth visibility between appointments.
Nose Waxing can be safe for sensitive skin when performed correctly. We conduct a consultation and patch test, use gentle, hypoallergenic waxes, and adjust technique. If you have severe allergies or skin conditions, we may recommend alternatives like trimming.
Avoid heavy nasal sprays and alcohol on the day of your appointment. Clean nostrils gently, and ensure hair is about two to three millimeters long so wax can grip. Avoid waxing if you’re experiencing a cold. Inform your technician about medications or recent procedures before treatment.
After waxing, avoid touching or picking the area and keep nostrils clean. Skip swimming, saunas, and heavy exercise for 24 to 48 hours. Apply a gentle antiseptic or soothing balm if advised, and contact us for any prolonged redness or irritation.
Proper nostril waxing removes only outward hair and does not affect deep nasal hairs responsible for filtration. When performed correctly, breathing is not impaired. If you have respiratory concerns or require medical advice, consult your healthcare provider before treatment.
