Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Legs.

Most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free legs for four to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles and care. Regular waxing consistent with this schedule can gradually slow regrowth and produce finer, sparser hair over time.

Some sensitivity is normal, especially on first appointments, but trained technicians apply techniques and numbing options to reduce discomfort. Exfoliating beforehand, avoiding caffeine, and taking a mild pain reliever an hour before can help if concerned.

Ensure hair is at least quarter-inch long, exfoliate a day before, and arrive with clean, lotion-free skin. Avoid tanning, retinoids, or harsh treatments 48 hours prior to reduce irritation and ensure effective waxing.

Waxing can occasionally lead to ingrown hairs, particularly if aftercare is neglected. We exfoliate during service and recommend regular gentle exfoliation, hydrating oils, and avoiding tight clothing immediately after to minimize risk. Treatments are available for persistent ingrown hairs.

Wait at least 12 to 24 hours before hot showers, saunas, or intense workouts to avoid irritation and infection. Use cool showers and gentle cleansers, apply calming lotions or aloe, and avoid exfoliation for 48 hours to protect skin.

Pregnancy is usually safe for waxing, though increased sensitivity is common—consult your practitioner. Certain medications like retinoids, Accutane, or blood-thinners can increase risk; disclose all medications and recent skin treatments during booking to ensure safe, appropriate service.
