Get answers to common questions about Eyelash Tinting.
Tint longevity varies by hair growth and aftercare, typically lasting four to six weeks. Oil-based cleansers, frequent swimming, and heavy exfoliation can fade pigment sooner. We recommend touch-ups every 4–6 weeks to maintain depth and consistent results.
Yes when performed by trained technicians using professional, patch-tested dyes. We conduct a consultation and recommend a patch test for first-time clients or those with known sensitivities to minimize allergic reactions and protect eye health.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and avoid waterproof mascara for 24 hours. Skip eyelash growth serums prior to service if possible. Inform your technician of allergies, recent eye procedures, or medications that might affect dye performance.
Avoid heavy water exposure, saunas, and steam for the first 24–48 hours to allow pigment to set. After that, normal showering and swimming are fine, but prolonged chlorine or saltwater exposure may speed fading.
When done correctly with high-quality dyes and proper technique, eyelash tinting should not damage natural lashes. Avoid frequent overlapping treatments and follow aftercare. If you have fragile or chemically treated lashes, discuss concerns so we can adjust products or timing.
Most appointments last 20–40 minutes, including brief consultation and application. If a patch test is required or you combine services, allow extra time. We’ll advise scheduling to ensure a relaxed, unhurried experience and optimal tint results.
